About the Fund
In line with the Egyptian State’s commitment to implementing the provisions of Anti-Human Trafficking Law No. 64 of 2010, the Fund for Assisting Victims of Human Trafficking was established by Presidential Decree No. 349 of 2024. The decree was issued after reviewing the Constitution and all relevant legislation, and following the approval of the Cabinet. It was officially published in the Egyptian Official Gazette on August 26, 2024.
Providing legal consultations and legal representation for victims
Psychological and social support programs for victims of human trafficking crimes
Providing financial assistance to victims who have suffered damages resulting from criminal offenses
Enhancing victims’ reintegration into society through the provision of care and assistance.
Implementing and carrying out suitable projects for victims
Developing care, education, training, and rehabilitation programs for victims
Executive Director of the Fund for Assisting Victims of Human Trafficking
An Egyptian diplomat who joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1990, with over 3 decades of experience. Appointed as Executive Director of the Fund in October 2025.
Served as Assistant Foreign Minister for Parliamentary Affairs until February 2025, Ambassador of Egypt to several countries, and Deputy Assistant Minister for Migration and Anti-Human Trafficking.
Awarded the “Orden del Quetzal” First Class (2017) by the President of Guatemala, the highest honor bestowed upon foreigners.
Holds a Diploma in International Relations from Paris (1993) and a Diploma in International Law from the International Court of Justice in The Hague (1993).
المدير التنفيذي لصندوق مساعدة ضحايا الاتجار بالبشر
دبلوماسية مصرية انضمت للخارجية عام 1990، بخبرة تمتد لأكثر من 3 عقود. عُينت مديراً تنفيذياً للصندوق في أكتوبر 2025.
شغلت منصب مساعد وزير الخارجية للشؤون البرلمانية حتى فبراير 2025، وسفير مصر لدى عدة دول، ونائب مساعد الوزير لشؤون الهجرة ومكافحة الاتجار بالبشر.
حصلت على وسام “Orden del Quetzal” من الدرجة الأولى (2017) من رئيس جواتيمالا، وهو أعلى وسام يُمنح للأجانب.
حاصلة على دبلومة العلاقات الدولية من باريس (1993) ودبلومة في القانون الدولي من محكمة العدل الدولية بلاهاي (1993).
